So Long Lost Another Inspired by Dock Boggs
I’ve been so long lost I’ve forgotten most everything When the hammer hits the bell no longer does it ring Passing by an open door a crowd had gathered there All dressed in Sunday finery with ever so much care But the man who was speaking to them was dressed the same as me Shouting about some temptations and what would set them free I stopped to listen then for a little while Thinking he had captured them with guile Serving Seemingly simple truths his style The longer I listened to him the harder it was to tell Just what was his purpose what was he trying to sell Making so much sense it must be some kind of spell When the hammer hits the bell no longer does it ring I’ve been so long lost I’ve forgotten most everything Standing in that doorway His voice began to sway Dusty and so tired from everywhere have I roamed Trying to remember from my memories have I combed Then I hear him calling me Just calling me back home Saying I could be set free By nothing but some tome I’d been

Echo Through The Valley Inspired by Dock Boggs
High on the porch echoing through the valley Banjo beat brings together what once was so near And lost so very long ago so very long ago. We know soon that there will be there will be the final tally So come and give a listen and tell me what you hear It is time to rise up now rise up from below. Let it echo through the valley There will be the final tally What was lost very long ago Will soon rise up now from below So, come and wash the dirt away Today’s the day Today’s the day A new day is here and here to stay Yeah, a new day for all So, come and hear the call For the mighty to fall For the mighty to fall High on the porch echoing through the valley Banjo beat brings together what once was so near Found again once more yeah found again once more So, come and give a listen and tell me what you hear Banjo beat brings together what the mighty do fear What the mighty do fear A new day it is here A new day it is here So, go and tell your brothers and your sisters dear Come and
A timeless song about the feeling of all changing times But whether or not it is a feeling of hope or of dread Is a matter of perspective, is the line we’ve been fed. Future that’s bright Wiped out by blight Leaving behind what’s just round the bend A beginning for some and others the end What’s warmed by light Freezes at night Growth in the Spring Dies out in the Fall Lost is the Summer And Winter like truth will out I’ve heard said Everyone’s right Sounds like a fight Whether it’s a feeling of hope or of dread Depends on how whose history is read Learning from this and grateful for that Or learning from that and grateful for this Just another exercise of hit or miss A frog or prince the chance of a kiss Those with the might Must have the sight Hearing the Call Warning of Fall Heart full of hope or head full of dread A matter of perspective or so some have said One boat or many Sinking or sailing Is there anyone wining If someone is failing A matter of perspective, the

You can judge these books by their covers.
...Because I think your judgement will be "HOLY DAMN!"
Yeah, time for another incredibly sporadic, random Life Update, to say that the contest for the cover for Chameleon Moon, Book 1; 2nd Edition is over, winner chosen, book actually done and published, looks ridiculously amazing ...and sold more copies in its first month (20 days rather, since it was published on Oct. 11th) than the first edition did in a year, so... Yeah, Holy Damn.
And the 2nd Edition is just... better than the first. I'm so happy with it in every way. The interior design too, and the actual writing changes - of which there are Several, characters are given more detail

What a strange and lovely ride it's - being!
Hello lovelies! :D I wanted to let you know a couple things.
I am alive! My first published novel, Chameleon Moon, is doing really well. The good reception has been astonishing, quite honestly. I'm feeling more and more like an Actual Real Live Published Working Author every single day. It's been amazing.
Like, better than I ever expected. It was my publisher's #1 bestseller last quarter, and has been consistently on the top 10 bestseller list, every month, for both paperback and ebook. Basically... WOW. Thank you.
And that is why I haven't been around. Because I've been doing a lot less Art Things (sadly! I really hope to do more Art Things
