I mean, I admit to being no DIS fan myself, but even I think such a criticism has no legs to stand on and is quite silly.

Besides, Sonequa Martin-Green's acting is always at its best when she's being emotional. So much so, I thought it a bit of a shame she was cast as the cool, logical, raised by Vulcans character as it's not exactly playing into her strengths as an actress. But oh well, what's done is done.
