Straight out of High School (1999) and prior to 2010 I was a self-taught portrait artist for 12 years working primarily in graphite and colored pencils.
In 2010, I decided to make the jump into comics and turned to The Kubert School. It was the best decision of my life. I consider myself very fortunate to be instructed by some of the very best the industry has to offer. I am slated to graduate in May of 2013.

Well, It's offical. I've been accepted to the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. I start in the fall.
Time to pack and search for money to pay for it.

Long overdue

I've decided that I hate my job... at least the company I work for. Printing is not a bad gig, but its time to move on. So I've decided to go back to school to finish my BA in Illustration. Maybe "go back" aren't the right words considering I only completed Drawing II - IV before I had to drop out due work related obligations, i.e. rapid advancement and long hours.
The next 6 months are going to be interesting considering I don't have anything in the way of a portfolio. We'll see what the next few bring.
