The current dA mishigoss keeps sabotaging the comment I’m trying to reply to your previous comment with, so I’ve got to resort to posting a new comment here, Krissi, and hope you can forgive my boorishness:
Also, to your point about making art in times like these... Art is such a solitary pursuit (at least the way I've always done it), and mostly, I find myself, if not spending time with the people I love, then at least spending time out in the world, with all of these strangers, some of them lovely, some of them not so much...  
It just makes it that much more difficult to stay home and get anything accomplished, art-wise and otherwise! deviantART used to be such a great inspiration for all of that. I find myself coming back here now, every day, after years of neglecting the site (partly because my computer’s so old, the browser’s not supported by dA).
Anyway. You’ve always been among the artists I’ve most enjoyed bumping in to around here; I hope 2026 is a much better year for you and yours. <3

I know what you mean pal. It used to be such a labor of love, we didn't really even think about the time that we invested here-- it just came naturally. Still, I'm not aware of any other site quite like deviantART. Certainly not the way it used to be, and even in its current state, so I keep coming back here just in case...
