Florence Broadhurst

This is my submission for last terms university project.
We had to create an illustration for the front cover of a magazine, based upon it's feature article, in the style of an interviewed illustrator.
It is to be the image of our next project

My chosen Illustrator was , thus the color tones, textural details and the bejeweled chameleon

The Feature article is on a lady called Florence Broadhurst. She was a groundbreaking textural artist specializing in wallpapers and designs. She was always seen as a bit of a social chameleon, creating stories about herself though her entire life. In the end she was murdered, the case is still unsolved.
