Pixel mockup based on the Netflix Castlevania animated series.
The HUD's HP bar (little red bars) is based on the old Castlevania games which the animation is based upon. In this scene, the player is expected to mash the attack button to push back Dracula's fireball. The yellow bar is this reimagining's "Hearts" counter. The animation is more "grounded" and, as such, makes no use of "video-gamey" elements such as the Hearts. So,here, subweapons work more like an "stamina" bar that fills up by destroying objects and enemies. Finally, the weapon is shown at the top because the player can hypothetically switch weapons on the fly. In Trevor's case, he'd be able to use either his whip or sword, for example.
The ORIGINAL drive behind this mockup was to study. I set a two-day deadline to create it, and the first version was posted online as soon as I was done. Due to the self-imposed rule, it lacked some details I wanted to add and some more refining. Hence, this is the "master" version, with all corrected details.
