A while ago my grandma gave me some origami sheets and some directions on verious patterns including a crane pattern. So a couple days ago I found it after being buried in a pile of crap for who knows how long and decided that I was going to make 1000, yep count 'em, 1000 paper cranes. It's Japanese tradition to make cranes as wedding gifts or baby showers to bring good luck and prosperity. It's like if you make a thousand you get a wish. My goal is twenty a day for fifty days. I'm only on day four. -_-* But I've made a hundred so far! I've been using regular computer paper and magazine clippings (which can make some really cool patterns) and sometime soon imma make a big out of newspaper. tissue paper might be fun too. hmm...what else could I use??
