A Happier Family

In an alternate universe, the young orphaned boy, born of Lily Evans and James Potter, grows up as the adopted son of a Biochemistry professor at Oxford, Michael Verres-Evans, and his wife, Petunia Evans-Verres. He is not abused, he is not forced to do menial labour, confined to live in a cupboard or resigned to wearing second-hand cast-offs. In fact he is loved, well looked after and, most importantly, educated. He is educated in SCIENCE and REASON. Arguably the best foundation for a young wizard who is set to take over the magical world!
