Recently in my search for not-human animal or anthro point-of-view novel, I found this intriguing stand-alone novel wrote by the famous Alan Dean Foster (he even wrote the original novelization of Star Wars (including the never-realized movie "Splinter of the Mind's Eye", conceived as sequel of the first Star Wars if the movie did not made much success).

Well... I could translate the title als " Bunnies from Space"
or better saying "Cool disco-pacifist-disturbing horny bunnies from Space".
Keeping jokes away, it is a very COOL book, but with covers that well... honestly horrible. While I am no real artist, I tried to portray the first part of the book's protagonist: the scout Looks-at-Charts.

The story follow mostly the alien point-of-view (but in the second half has 50% of human POV), concerning their arrival as colonists on the Earth during WW2. Discovery the Earth is inhabited by another sentient race (they believe to be the only one) and repulsion for the warring violent behavior of humanity.
Looks-at-Charts is a bit a pragmatist for being a Quozl, and one of the few described to be capable of direct action for self-defense.
However the second part of the book include a very fascinating series of characters with the two young ones of both races (Quozl and Humans) meeting in secret and discovering their similarities and differences.

Could say more, but the rest is spoiler Xp

Concerning their feature, the cover describe them like weirdo-goofy lemurs with cartoonish huge feets. Quite amusing... concerning spoiler stuff in the book lol
However the novel describe their large feet to make them capable of high speed and agility and using a martial art with kicks: so it was natural for me to see them as digitigrade. Moreover, the book quite clearly state they are both cute and charming to human eyes. They have "muzzles" even if a bit more flat compared to rabbit ones...

If you read so far, I guess you noticed that "horny" bunnies right? *chuckle*
Well... one of their features is a very "bunny-like" high sexual life.
...
Very high xD

And quite interesting, the whole thing is never graphic, but it provide plenty of hilarious moments when talking to humans. In addition to other spoiler things Xp

Interesting depiction of a Quozl. Its been ages since I read that book but I remember it being pretty good (but then, Alan Dean Foster books in general are pretty good in my opinion).
