Historically Gaming, Set One

Every now and then, an idea hits me out of the blue, at the weirdest of times.

So, here I am, painting over Miranda's left thigh for Episode 62 of Marauder Shields, when it hits me. A joke. A simple one. A winded one. One that I will be making in daily doses, one per day for the next X weeks/months, until it gets boring and I drop it into oblivion, crying not, because it took little effort to make. An idea that answers the question "what if I took old, historical pictures that have already slipped into public domain, retouched them a bit and used them to illustrate the faux history of ages-long gaming?"

Here's the first batch of said jokes, for the lack of a better word. I give you: Historically Gaming!

I will be releasing these on DeviantArt once per week (in batches of 7 or whatever-the-right-amount-will-be). You can also catch them daily by following my Twitter (twitter.com/koobismo ) or the newly-established Tumblr account (historically-gaming.tumblr.com is the dedicated one, while koobismo.tumblr.com is my main one). These should be considered an addition to my other stuff, as they're as low-effort as my usual obsessiveness allows. My usual lateness shall not be impacted.
