The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Philippine Komiks Convention (KOMIKON), with the cooperation of the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of the United Nations and International Organization, are organizing a comic strip competition, in line with the 10th anniversary of KOMIKON.
The comic strip should feature a main character:
- He/she might be a Barangay Captain in a community that frequently gets hit by natural disasters.
- The comic element is the way this hapless/clever/wise etc. character deals with

Thank you Hello to all Filipino artists. We are a company based in Dubai and we are looking for talented artists who are excellent in traditional drawing/painting. You will be trained as a cake artist doing caricature on cakes and other pastries. You can also work as a part-time arts teacher (for extra income) for a big arts and crafts store based in Dubai , owned by the same company in teaching Copic markers/ acrylic , watercolor or oil painting.
