A new piece.
This is something that's been in my head for awhile. Back in the spring of 1983 I heard a piece of music on the radio by Dvorak, called The Noonday Witch. I had no idea of the story behind it, but subsequently learned that his inspiration was a Karel Erben poem, Polednice which relates a Slavic legend concerning a witch called "Lady Midday"...

I'm just beginning to explore your art, so I'm not quite sure yet where you're coming from in your own approach as the creator, but I'm seeing this through the eyes of a symbolist, admiring the dressing which you have put on real world things that start me on the way to Ideas or maybe even Truths.
Now, you may be intending something more surrealist or allegorical or any number of other things, but for me this is signpost on a path to contemplating some interesting things about evil, false evil, structural evil, unintended evil, and so much more.
