Fuego Chapter 1 New Draft
Chapter 1 A PromiseSeath Whelan and Koneko Akiyama sat up in the tree, watching the sun and the daytime moon set. Seath was a lumadadh, the wolf race, and not as entirely comfortable up in the tree as Koneko, a feloth, or the cat race, was. But the two were best friends, and Seath wasn't going to complain how the two of them spent their last evening together before parting on their separate ways.Koneko ran a hand through Seath's hair. "I wish you didn't have to cut your hair," she said regretfully. "It was beautiful."Seath reached behind her head and felt the end of her hair; she still wasn't used to it stopping at the top of her nec...
Chapter 2 Offer of Help "When spider webs unite, they can tie up lions." Zelda expected the heat once she stepped out of the shadowy corridor, but there hadn't really been a way to prepare for it. She was already starting to regret her decision to wear her cloak, but it was important to speak to Princess Relinda as a fellow Sage of the Triforce and not as Princess Zelda Markovic of Hyrule. The Sheikah woman would have stood there for a while to allow the cool air from the corridor flow around her, but she had to move out of the way to make room for Tomas to exit; Cheslav remained at the castle to continue Genevra's training. That was ...
Chapter 1 The Sage of Lightning "It is a given that every path in life will have shadows fall upon it; only fools try to avoid it. But those with strength and courage will bring light to the darkness, even if they must embrace the shadows to do so." Genevra was quite sure she was not allowed to be up on this floor of the castle, but it wasn't as if she even wanted to be there in the first place. She had happened to be in Kakariko Village when King Leonid Markovic decided he was too old for the throne and abdicated it to his eldest daughter, Princess Natalia. The half-Gerudo, half-Hylian hadn't even considered attending the coronation ...
Pardon the break in April. But I'm back for May, and this month it's time to discuss my least favorite Zelda race, the Dekus. It's not that I hate them; I just don't find them very impressive. Maybe I can make them seem marginally more interesting for me while I write this article. Click on [Read More] to continue.Dekus first appeared in Ocarina of Time, and have been a staple of the series ever since. Their most common role is to act as shopkeepers, stocking a single item, such as Deku sticks, or shields. Sometimes, to buy something from the Deku, you have to first deflect the nuts they shoot at you with your shield; an act that in ...
So you all can appreciate this month's article, know that I did research for you. Not just any research. Research into the reproductive process of fish. As I said last issue, this one will be about Zoran biology, and there is great potential for squickiness. Don't say I didn't warn you. To further appreciate this month's issue, know that the laptop I was typing this one kept on acting like I was typing in commands I wasn't; paragraphs would start indenting, the Find and Replace feature kept popping up, and once it closed out on me. Thankfully I had recently saved and didn't lose much. Folks, don't get a Dell. When you're ready, cli...
So, I pushed off the Sheikah article to do some fact checking only to find out that, yeah, we know next to nothing about this enigmatic race. Only two have unarguably been featured in the series, Impa and Sheik from Ocarina of Time, with Impaz from Twilight Princess heavily implied that she is a descendent of the Sheikahs. Their emblem, the eye and tear, can be seen throughout the series, even before the Sheikah's official introduction in Ocarina of Time. Let's [Read More], shall we?Let's start with a general history of the Sheikah. Five thousand years before the Hylians pulled together to form a nation out of scattered farming village...
Fans of the Super Smash Bros. series love to come up with their rosters, and I'm no exception. So the following is my list of fifty characters, no easy task to accomplish when you have several favorite characters you'd like to see included, most of them either female or from the Fire Emblem series.Veterans:
1.) Mario, the Super Mario series
2.) Luigi, the Super Mario series
3.) Princess Peach, the Super Mario series
4.) Bowser, the Super Mario series
5.) Yoshi, the Super Mario series
6.) Wario, the Wario series
7.) Donkey Kong, the Donkey Kong series
8.) Diddy Kong, the Donkey Kong series
9.) Link, The Legend of Zelda series, Twilight Pri...
To begin with, let's review what we know about the Minish. They are a race of miniature people, approximately one to two inches in height. Adults are unable to see them, and it is said that only good children can see them. They love to make the big people happy, and they do that by hiding rupees, hearts, and other various items in grass, pots, or other places people might not expect to find such items (suggesting that they are in the other games, but we just don't see them). They built the Armos statues that guard the Wind Temple, and presumably every other Armos statue in the series. Ages past before the start of The Minish Cap, a gr...
I don't think many people would argue that the Gorons are animals, even if they are often described as living rocks. What sort of animal they are is probably easier to strike up a debate with, and here's what I like to think (as always, you are free to provide an alternative explanation). Gorons are mammals, as can be proved by three aspects that both have in common, one of which is actually probably a bit debatable itself, so let's start with hair. You know, that light tan-ish, rock-looking substance that you typically see on their heads. However, this is judging from Twilight Princess; other games does a much better job of suggesting...
Ah, the Garo. A one time enemy from Majora's Mask. So little is known about them. It doesn't really help that all the ones we meet are dead. The most we can learn from interacting with them is their fighting style and a small part of their beliefs. "To die without leaving a corpse That is the way of us Garo." The rest we can only infer from quotes given by Pamela's father. "They're the shells of spies from an enemy nation sent to investigate Ikana." "Although they are said to be shells, Garos are still ninja and they will not show themselves in front of people." Even Pamela (maybe; Tacheon from the fourms wasn't sure when I asked ...

Yay! I finally have original writing up again! It's a rewrite for Fuego, necessitated by a new map, a new military setup, a reconfiguring of the plot, and the subtraction of human, god, and demi-god characters. Now I just need to get working on my other books....>>
Yesterday I took a look at my plans for my Zelda fanfic The Land of Legend and changed some things around. I took out segments while combining others. I also took out the overarching deity storyline, meaning I need to heavily rewrite the first segment. This, of course, means that I now need to send everything I have already published to Scraps. Except that I'm not sure how I go about doing that. Is that a category I create for myself, or is there something I need to do with the entries themselves? I'd really appreciate some help on this.
The fan won't work, so it either freezes up on me or it shuts itself down. Which is rather annoying when you're typing away and didn't manage to save yet. I sent it in to Best Buy to get serviced twice, but they never did fix it, even though they said they did. Odds are, I'll have to buy another laptop, and I don't think it'll be from Best Buy.
