Just a random experiment with seeing just how much of a size difference I could present in the same scene.
Remilia is about 5000 times bigger, and Flandre is about 200 times smaller in this, so assuming that this would be a shrink scene, Flandre would then be 1'000'000 times smaller than her sister, or somewhere between 1 to 1.5 micrometres tall.

Just did a 3-tier zoom to show her happily hugging on to the head of a thumbtack, while Remilia trys very hard to see her (I don't think reading glasses will do the trick)

I always love seeing Flandre as the small one~. Not that I mind when the little sister grows bigger, I don't think that there's enough pictures of the older sister becoming bigger in a sibling pair. It just so happens that I find Remilia to be the hottest Touhou character too~. <3

I hear that.
The Scarlet sisters are always good canidates for this stuff.

Flandre is the sort of cute, innocent and playful type who can fit both sides of the size content;
A giant Flandre seeing the whole world as nothing but toys, ready to break, or
A tiny Flandre playing around the new massive world around her, going on an adventure/exploring around her big sister, or anyone else she finds while shrunken.

Remilia has that classy queen/dominant ring to her that fits well with a lot of giantess content;
A giant Remilia would see the whole world as her puny subjects/slaves, and would probaly demand that everyone worships her as she rules over them.

The whole "Massive Remilia and Tiny Flandre enjoying it" concept really came to light for me ever since Pach Ei made that amazing "Flandre's huge crush" video (plus that short story you wrote for it, it really added to it), and I really felt inspired to start making a few image scenarios with that concept in mind.

Aw, glad to hear you were inspired by that video~. And also, thanks for the compliment of the story I wrote for it, I was a little discouraged at first because it seemed like no one paid attention to the description. Then again, we are talking about the comments section of Youtube, so... ^^;  Anyhow though, like you said, Remilia is pretty much the perfect character to make giant/shrink others, due to how arrogant she is. It's really nice to see more artwork of that ever since that video.~

Didn't think Remilia would have Flandre become so small that even the pin of a thumbtack would be so big to here. That just brings on so many interesting idea's.

Was just a little scale test, thinking of remaking it later to show up a bit brighter, following patchy's advice

Now, if she was a yoctrometer tall...

(I'm probaly going to get a few things wrong here but meh)

Lets assume the atoms that make up the metal of that thumbtack are about 300picometers (300 trillioniths of a meter)
But since atoms arn't actualy soild balls, she would probaly end up on top of the atomic nucleus (neutrons and protons)
Apparently the nucleus is well over 10'000 times smaller, it would be about 10 femometers (30'000 times smaller, to keep it simple)
We could say that one of the sub atomic particles that make up the atomic nucleus is about 1 femometer.

Right, now a femometer would be 1000 attometers, an attonmeter would be 1000 zeptometer, and a zeptometer would be 1000 yoctrometer.
That would mean that Flandre would end up being a billion times smaller than a sub-atomic particle, and 10 billion times smaller than the full nucleus, pretty much having particles larger than planets to her.
She would also be about 300 trillion times smaller than an atom making up whatever surface she was orgionally on.

As for Remilia, she would be about (1'000'000'000'000'000'000'000'000) a septillion times larger than Flandre (or 10^-24)
Remilia would appear to be 1 Yottameter tall to Flandre, which is only a few hundred times smaller than that current obserable universe, resulting in some seriously awkward sibling issues.

(I just felt like trying to work that out, food for thought)

Sometimes it's fun to see how far a scale difference can go, isn't it?~
Though I might want to suggest to tone up the brightness a bit, try alternating the xyz position property of Diffusion, it brightens up the Red Green Blue color respectively. You can also use AutoLuminous and change its Si value to changes its illuminant level.

Thanks for that, I had a feeling I may have made it a bit too dark, next time I do a 'micro' image I'll brighten it up a bit.
Although I don't think I'll be trying to do this level of scaling directly in the same scene, I find it a bit hard to make it look right.
