Emergency Trail: Curb Stomp by Koirvon Emergency Trail: Curb Stomp by Koirvon
A long planned image I wanted to do, inspired from playing PSO2 with Pachy for the past month. Since we both played as Touhou look-a-likes (me as Nue, and them as Koishi) I thought it'd be amusing to do an image where both our characters are extremely huge, and about to take down a really, really tiny boss~

Reason why Koishi is stomping and has ice behind her is due to Pachy having her as a Melee/Magic hybird class type that uses boots as an attack method. And Nue has two rayguns, since I have her as a class that uses twin firearms, and the though of her dual weilding shrink rays as she towers above entire worlds is quite pleasing to me~

(Couldn't quite get any screenshots of the UI that I could manipulate, so did a crappy MS paint job of it, sorry if it ruins the image, I still have a version of the bottom panel without it if anyone needs.)

Nice stats they have. Probably wouldn't be hard for them to grow even more powerful~.

I haven't played the game but I don't see anything wrong with the UI and in fact I think it's a nice touch.

Hehe, well think about all the monsters that'd be on the planet and all the exp they get from it to grow~ (I do enjoy imagining little RPG mechanics for these) Thanks.

So a Fi/Te and Gu/Ra builds, eh? Neat.

Surprised you didn't do the Quartz Dragon instead or the Big Vardha (making it seem insignificant). Still, despite the Paint job, you managed to have an accurate representation of the quest bars and status meter. Only thing you missed on the status bars was a star in the center of the party leader's color =P

Still, good work! Oh, and in case you can't tell, I play PSO2 as well - have a Lv 71/46 Br/Hu build at the moment. Those Emergency Quests do wonders for EXP boosts and getting 10-12 star weapons/armor.

Ah, nice to see another player. (the former is actually Bo/Te)
Only MMD models I found in relation to PSO2 was the Vol Dragon, Quna in her "death squad" outfit, and Miku in the Fonewearl outfit, so had to make do with this, still would have been amusing to have the Big Vardha, Magatsu or even Dark Falz Eldar depicted as a tiny speck to those two.
Anyway thanks, I'm 59/60 myself, so still grinding away at those SH emergency quests, with like 60 tri-boosters I picked up from doing all the matterboards at once.

*Nods* Ah, I see. Well, at least I managed to get the Techer half right ^_0

Also didn't know there were only such limited MMD models available considering it's been out for over 2 years now. You'd be right though - having something like the new tri-Magatsu would have worked incredibly well, as would any of the Dark Falzes. Still, with what you had available, you managed to do an excellent job - I really don't think anyone is going to miss the dragonkin-infested Volcano, right?

Very nice as well - I've got like 40 Tri-Boosters +100% in my storage as well from all the free giveaways, Matter Board, and from the occasional Event Bingo which really helped with getting past the 68 -> 70 hurdle (which you'll see you'll only be getting like 300 EXP/kill even on the EQs then). Keep grinding away until you hit that magic Lv 70 for the fun of Extra Hard Quests! If you thought Magatsu takes a while on SH, he takes super long on XH (assuming one has a competent party)!

This being said, however, I'll can give you my PSO2 name via Note should you ever wish to party up for some reason - I know I'm merely a random GTS artist commenting on this image, so there's no obligation to do so. In any case, best of luck to you in continuing to fight the Darkers!

Yea, MMD models are surprisingly limited for certain things sadly, even things that have existed for many years.
(Would have probably done quite a few images related to Pokemon, Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Umineko and Neptunia if more models existed of the characters I wanted)

That planet was already hit by a meteorite, so I'm sure some goddess stomping it won't be too much trouble for them.
Nice booster collection there, I've been surprised at how generous they were with all the free items, first time visiting the Title Counter was like Christmas for me, since I ignored it for several weeks.  Got to admit that Tri-Magatsu fight was a lot of fun due to the A.I.S. Mechs having more features than the limited ones in Mining Base part 3.

Not sure if we'd actually be able to party, since I've got both my characters on Ship 4, and most English speakers hang around Ship 2 I believe, but I appreciate the offer, good luck to you too fighting evil bugs, Dark Failz Losers, and big dudes who really redefine the term "two-faced" ^^

Indeed, the Title Counter is like a mini-gold mine; play for a few hours and suddenly I'll have a few random titles and rewards XD Not to mention that whenever they patch the game (which is weekly or every other week), more free items end up in the mailbox. And yes, Part 2 of the Magatsu fight has been really fun; it's a shame that not many people know that to beat the Gold Magatsu that you have to destroy his breakables first so that the orb shield goes down, then Weak Bullet + Blaster to do ~2 million damage. Still, even if you don't beat him, the amount of 10/11 star items are definitely worth it!

Ah, no wonder. Yes, my character is on Ship 2 as well, though I suppose I could always make a second on Ship 4 if need be. However, no need to fear - there's always the Shared Ship feature of Challenge Mode!

And speaking of Challenge Mode, not sure if you guys have tried it out or anything, but I assume you know the currency for playing it is called "Challenge Miles"? Would make for an easy sequel image should you choose to do so. Though I must say, you really need a party who knows what they're doing for that since you can get 10,000 Challenge Miles for just reaching Mission 10. I suppose the tough part is farming for them; I only have about ~37,000 Miles at the moment, but it costs 180,000 for an Ideal Weapon (which are definitely worth it for the 13 star, and farming 50 Excubes for a single Lambda Grinder for them is quite easy as well). I recommend you guys try it out if you ever have the time! ^_^

Figured you'd be a ship 2 dweller, only went to ship 4 myself since a friend who invited me to play was on it (and hearing about the ISP block removals last month got me to start playing) I wouldn't want you to have to go though the trouble of making an entirely new character on a different ship, considering all the progress you made on your own (My SEGA ID is also "Koirvon" and character names are "Koirv" and "Yumemi" incase you were wondering) Although I'm still more than happy to chat to a fellow gamer from the "size-community" since I got quite a few of them added on Steam~

I'm honestly still a rookie and only really good with rifles and twin machine guns, so wouldn't be too good with Challenge mode, only did like two runs with random people and lost on mission 4 against the fang duo. Still seen the lovely weapons on sale, and pretty sure I seen your NPC Zeig selling those Lambda grinders for craftman seals as well?
Still enjoying the game as it is though, its been the best online game I've ever played so far.

Indeed. I've been playing since October myself after some friends of mine in the GTS world introduced me to the proxy, though I wouldn't mind making a second character since my main one is on the verge of reaching the level cap soon (since I just hit 72 last night during the EQs). My SEGA ID should be "ssgoku7" [which coincidentally is also my Steam name in case you're wondering] and my account name would be "KeiraYuuko" with my character being "KeiraWaifu" [It's a bit of a long story, but the guys who introduced me to it had an all-female CAST Team that they wanted me to join for showing me how to download PSO2, hence the name. My character is supposed to be modeled off of Yuuko Kouzuki from the Muv-Luv visual novels for the most part.]

Only good with rifles, eh? Then you'd be an ace at Challenge Mode! I'm mainly a katana/bullet bow/gunblade user myself, but after playing Challenge Mode for a bit, I've become adept with rifles, twin machine guns, swords, and launchers. What you have to do is go to the Shared Ship mode and pick one of the "Hardcore/Strategic Play" blocks and get in a party there; you're pretty much guaranteed to make it to at least Mission 8 and get ~4000 Miles at the very least. My usual strategy for Challenge Mode is to pick up a rifle and get One Point until the end of Mission 2, then at the Recycle Shop interval, trade up for a missile launcher and keep upgrading your launcher throughout the adventure - it takes a few minutes to get used to the Just Attack timing on launchers, but come the later missions, it's the strongest and easiest weapon to use, especially for people who prefer ranged weaponry (as a Braver, I can use omni-range weaponry - katanas for CQC and bullet bows to skewer my enemies with my Million Shot). Not to mention that Cluster Bomb is easily one of the most essential battle skills for the launcher (as it does massive damage in a pretty big AoE). Anyways, should you guys wish to give it a try sometime, I'd be glad to help out~ ^_^

As for the Lambda Grinders, Zieg sells them, yes. HOWEVER! With the recent Magatsu EQs and such, I usually get a ton of 10 star weapons from him and other SH/XH EQs, so I usually just go to the Recycle Shop and pick up some Photon Spheres to buy boost devices for my Mag (running a pure DEX mag at Lv 120 currently), or Excubes for buying Lambda Grinders. Why Excubes? Because you can save tons of time and effort and just exchange 50 Excubes for a Lambda Grinder at the Excube Exchange! Considering the insane amount of 10 star drops you'll be getting on SH runs, it might just take 2-3 EQs to recycle enough for a Lambda Grinder for what are currently the strongest (and rarest - 13 stars) weapons in the game.

I definitely must agree though, PSO2 is definitely the best MMO I've played to date. Can't beat it's pure action combat which even trumps that of Vindictus!

I think it looks fine myself, and I love the scale and concept. With this amount of power no boss would even be reasonably threatening in any way, and if anything wouldn't last very long.
