So on Friday, I went to Madison Square Garden in the city to see Muse play.
There's no way I could possibly explain how amazing this was. I'll give you a rundown of what happened anyways.
Once the Silversun Pickups finally left (ugh they were horrid) and the stage was set for MUSE, they began to play We Are the Universe. There were three huge towers that went from the floor to the ceiling, draped in some kind of fabric to look like sky scrapers. Images projected from them, of people climbing up stairs until it said "destroying itself", in which the people fell off. Then it all faded, to huge screams especially from me, and the curtains fell right off the towers and reddish light exploded everywhere with fog and lasers, revealing the band underneath on the pillars, their faces projected on the towers and they started playing Uprising right away.
That was the intro. I could describe every last detail in totality, but it would take up every last page of journal writing.
Here are the highlights of the show.

Still in shock by the immensity and gloriousness of this concert. I think I know how it feels like to be truly happy now.
