Bumbie's Mom is one we all had to deal with some point in our childhoods a ton, Let's face it we all had to watch the experience of Bambi's Mom dying when watching Bambi, But who better to take it a bit far with childhood trauma is none other than our favorite squirrel nephew Skippy, There's one word I can describe this episode entirely, Heartwarming, Very very heartwarming

Slappy Squirrel takes her nephew Skippy to see the film 'Bumbi.' Things seem to be going well, until the film gets to the part where Bumbi's Mom is killed, leading into Slappy to take Skippy to see the real Bumbie's Mom,

Bumbie's Mom was another episode written here by Sherri Stoner, but I did mention John McClenhan, but Bumbie's Mom had itself a co director being Barry Caldwell

Barry Caldwell was an animation writer, director and storyboard artist who was best known for his work across the Animaniacs in addition he was a graphic and digital artist who is employed by Walt Disney Television Studios and DreamWorks production companies. He has gained notoriety through his efforts a storyboard artist for various television series. Presently, he is contributing to The 7D (2015) and DreamWorks Dragons (2015) television series. His other notable efforts include Mulan II (2004), Osmosis Jones (2001), and The Tigger Movie (2000), He recently passed away 2 months this year which is a very sad shame to learn cause he left his mark a lot on Animaniacs and Pinky and The Brain as well as other projects.

Sherri Stoner apparently wrote the episode because she too cites her childhood trauma of watching the scene from Bambi where the titular character's mother gets shot as the basis for this episode.

Theres so much to mention about this episode, the constent easter eggs and references or as slappy calls them pretentious cameos like Wil E. Coyote and Roadrunner by the time writing Coyote Vs Acme is coming August 28th, The Warners who have one of my favorite gifs

Regarding Skippy's crying whenever she mentions Bumbie's mom, Slappy remarks "Pavlov would love this kid." This is a reference to Ivan Pavlov, a psychologist known for his experiments of classical conditioning, who was also parodied in a Pinky & the Brain short. Pavlov's Mice, the funny part is Skippy every time he said or utter the words Bumbie's Mom she's and just cries, as a kid I felt bad for him cause I know his pain,

But let's talk about Skippy since I forgot to last time with Slappy Goes Walnuts, Skippy is voiced by Nate Reugger a son to Tom Reugger and is known for having appeared on Tiny Toons as Baby Plucky.

All in all I think this is a very humble heartwarming and cozy episode, no big jokes, no fightng Walter Wolf, its just very sweet for Aunt Slappy to help Skippy with his childhood trauma with Bumbi
