Cancelled Movies - Peanuts (1995) - Charlie Brown

So, here's another addition to the cancelled movies troupe and believe me, this was my hardest casting choice and edit, Here's my attempt at a live action Charlie Brown for a Peanuts movie,

In 1992, it was reported that John Hughes would write and produce a live action adaptation of Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts for Warner Bros. Hughes reportedly visited Schulz at his home in Santa Clara, California to talk about adapting Peanuts into a film. According to Variety, Hughes planned to start writing the script on Christmas of 1992 and finish it by the spring of 1993; Hughes also did not verify that he would direct the film.

This apparently was the hardest casting choice I could find who could fit as Charlie Brown, Originally I would've considered Macaulay and Kieran Culken but both would've been in their teens, then I considered Haley Joel Osment, but he feels to me more like as a Linus type, then I considered Jonathan Lipnicki, but he didn't start til 96,

So my take is being played by Young Simba and Home Improvements own Jonathan Taylor Thomas,

my advice, if your gonna do a peanuts adaptation, make it animated

But least it actually work for Blue Sky
