A newly regenerated doctor lands in the streets of London to find all of London is in hiding, trying to figure out what's going on, The Doctor discovers that a invasion by a creature is happening, The Doctor reunites with Dan apologetic for nearly getting Dan killed who he says is getting better both go on this investigation together with Dan's new friend, Abigail Jones, to help The Doctor who he told countless stories of her,

The 3 finally meet the so called invaders, The Wrarth Warriors, but they explain they're a peaceful race to human civilization they're here to escort any civilians out of the war, But The Doctor didn't understand, if they weren't the enemies, then whose the enemy.

They soon see a ship entering, The Wrarth Warriors recognize this ship very well, and so does the Doctor, it's been a long aged enemies to the Wrarth Warriors for many years to come and this time they're back with vengeance... The Ice Warriors
