Description
I am Dave! Yognaut and I have the balls!
Remember, remember the fifth of December, when Datlof never surrendered!
Yeah, this had to happend eventually. I swear, I'm not a crazy person, just a very dedicated fangirl.
Long story short, my favorite Yogscast member, Lewis wore a store bought, machine knitted sweater during the first Civilization V night for the Christmas livestreams in 2014. I recognised it as a classic attemt on making a Norwegian "ski-sweater" and knew I could make a better, more accurate version. After trying my best to copy down the charts from tons of different reference pictures from the livestream, I ended up making tons of changes that would both make it better looking, and easier to work up. I am very pleased with the result.
It took me weeks to get the fair-isle chart how I wanted it. I orderd the yarn right away, but it took me about 4 months to get it started. The knitting took a little over two weeks and I had no problems at all with this thing. So exciteing! Too bad it's not summer and not really wool sweater weather. I will be wearing this thing all the time during winter, I just know it.
And of course, I had to have props in one of the pictures. A boxed copy of Civilization V and a bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin.
Yarn: Safirgarn (which funnily enough translates to sapphire yarn) 100% wool
Needles: 3,5mm
Copied from a machine knitted sweater, I can not share or sell my charts, even though they are not 100% accurate to the original

You're a great knitter and your version of this sweater is much prettier that the original! Your work always amaze me by its beauty and perfection.
