Sprite's Fen Shawl by KnitLizzy Sprite's Fen Shawl by KnitLizzy
Yet another finished shawl! This one is the second shawl of Helen Stewart's "The Shawl Society II" on Ravelry and it's an amazing pattern that I do recommend to all you shawl knitters out there. It's a crecent moon shape which is one of my favorite shawl shapes which again was ultimately why I decided to knit this one even before I've seen it.
It works with either one solid colour or three gradient colours (or as many as you want really) so I had to dive into my yarn stash for this one.

Colour A: Knit Picks - Stroll Tonal - Wine Tasting (75% merino, 25% polyamid)
Colour B: Expression Fiber Arts - Resilient Sock - Tie Dye (100% merino)
Colour C: Drops - Baby Merino (100% merino)

Colour C I dyed myself as a test dye when I bought my last load of acid dyes on Baby Merino scraps that I had lying around. I ended up with 310 meters in total, and I just had enough with 10 meters to spare when I bound off the shawl.
The shawl itself is way more red toned than the pink hues in these pictures. Guess I've gotta learn to edit my pictures better...
