It was years ago. I was just out of training when they sent him in. He was barely alive. A soldier that was a hero, beaten beyond repair. For normal treatment.
They put me on a new project that required all my training and background in the nervous system and physiology. They gave me the power to save the hero.
It took weeks, months even, to bring him back to a stable condition. He was awake. With the small team I was working with, they tasked me as his psychologist. However, there was one thing I was not allowed to do.
