Jade Dragon Book 2 Chapter 4 Pg 7

I'm so confuuuused. Like I honestly am so confused by all their actions. I keep hoping the next page will clear things up and i honestly just get more and more confounded. Shin expects Kaida to trust him but he hasn't given her a reason to trust him especially when last time he said to juat trust him she had a conversation with a dragon and woke up with an injury which Akira reacted violently to and now Shin is willing to suddenly tell him everything while just expecting Kaida to roll with it but she doesn't want to roll with it, she wants to know what the hell is going on and Akira pulled a flip literally after getting flipped and he is so chill with the situation now even though Shin struck out at him over a little touch on the shoulder and apparently that's how you make people understand your point of view and I just....what.....I'm sorry if it makes you feel bad but I am legitimately so confused by what's going on and I want the pages to explain it in this chapter rather than in the next one because i feel like all this beating around the bush isn't accomplishing anything so heeeeelllllp.
