Physical Information

Appearance: She has pretty long straight hair with her bangs a lighter shade of pink than the rest. She likes to tie her excess hair in to a side ponytail to her left side, sometimes she'll braid it if she feels like it or if Yang braids it for her. Her tail is longer and thicker than what usual Sylveon’s have and instead of her top bow being on her left ear its on the lower portion of her right ear. She doesn’t like to be touched so she keeps her ribbons close to herself and not extended out all the time.

Accessory: She has a Soothe Bell earring on her left ear to be able to use Heal Bell. She also wears it to help out Yang when she has panic attacks.

Overview: Sonya can come off as distant and uncaring at first. She seems to always be grumpy and hardly smiles unless she’s around her teammate Yang or those she trusts. She also is impatient and due to that she tends to act rashly when it comes to battles that are taking too long. She also gets annoyed easily due to being impatient and blunt in her words so comes off as rude a lot. Really she has a big heart and genuine concern for those hurt or in pain. She is protective of her friends and loved ones, and truly does like helping others. She’s just afraid to care and get hurt in the end.

In Conversation: In the first meet, her voice is bored or in a mellow tone. When she’s truly angry it raises higher to almost a deep feral tone.


At a Glance: A big grump with an attitude who seems mad all the time and uncaring. Obivously hiding something behind her cold demeanor.

Combat Information


Battle Style: Sonya grew up learning to be the lead attacker. So she likes to use her natural born speed to jump right in to battle and attack head on. Though due to her impatience in battle that makes her eager to go right in and attack, but she’s also a quick thinker and will observe her surroundings to make sure others are safe and adapts her technique to try to turn the battle to her advantage while she fights.  
Prowess: She is passive on it. She knows she can fight and used to all the time as a hunter, now she’s learning to fight to protect others.
Strengths: Her speed is impressive and she has tempered strength from training so much so knows how to use little to all her strength depending on the situation.
Weaknesses: She doesn’t have a lot of stamina and tires out quickly so can’t last in long battles, sometimes her impatience gets the better of her making her lose her temper and leaves her open to attack.

Ability: Cute Charm (For now, will change later)
She hates her ability. She doesn’t like touching others or others touching her and since she evolved its gotten a bit harder with her new ribbon feelers she has. One accidental touch can sometimes make a male smitten with her and only makes them want to hug or touch her even more. She’s working on changing that.

Move Set

• Iron Tail
Her most powerful move she has learned and tempered with precision. It’s due to her training as an Eevee in learning this move that her tail is longer and thicker than normal Sylveons. Thanks to her agile nature and speed she can leap high up and spin while her tail hardens to a metallic glow. Or spin swiftly on the ground to slide swipe her opponents.

• Heal Bell
A special move her Mentor made her learn even though she’s mostly an attacker. She didn’t like it at first and thought it useless, but she can’t deny she enjoys the soothing sound it emits and even helps calm her down when she uses it. It also brings her some peace when she sees she’s healing others instead of hurting them like she used to.

• Moonblast
A new move she learned when she evolved that sends a powerful blast of pink energy, but she hasn’t gotten used to it yet. Takes a lot of her energy to use it since she can’t control it yet. Thanks to some advice every time a full moon appears she’ll go out at night to absorb the rays and control how much power and energy she puts in to it so not to get as tired anymore.

• Shadow Ball
Another move she learned from her Mentor in recommendation she learn a long range move. She’s also tempered this that she can send multiple balls of dark energy at a time with less power but this ensures she doesn’t get too tired too quick.

Stat Breakdown


Stamina (4/10): Sonya can take a good few hits and push through if need be, but she will wear out quickly if she uses too much at a time and sometimes drops as soon as the battle is over.

Strength (8/10): Sonya knows some decently strong moves and has trained very often to temper and hone most of them. She’s spent a lot of her life training to get strong so its obvious when others have seen her in battle she is definitely strong.  

Agility (6/10): Even if it’s not the best compared to more faster species, Sonya is quite proud of her speed and agility. She knew Quick Attack before it was replaced with Moonblast so though the move was lost, she still adapted the boost that it gave her naturally.

Intelligence (7/10): Sonya is very observant of others and quick to pick up on things. She has to be since she’s always suspicious of others and doesn’t trust anyone in the beginning so any little things she’ll pick up on instantly. Though is also quick to assume unless they prove her wrong.

Charisma (5/10): Sonya isn’t very keen on making friends on the first meet and can come off as rude or anti-social in the beginning. Upon getting closer to her she actually is a true friend who’s the kick in the butt others need to do something.

History

Pre-Initiation

Sonya came from a long generation of witch hunters who are an all Eeveelution clan. There were a few families that interbred in her clan but her family specifically were all an Eeveelution generation. She had an older sister and a father who was the head of the clan. She never knew her mother as her father claimed she died when she was very young, not even her older sister remembers her.

For a time Sonya was proud of being in her clan of witch hunters. Made to believe that what they were doing was justice and a way to help others. Tracking down and capturing witches who did evil or negative magic and putting them down. She was taught what they were doing was right and helping others.
She would train diligently to make her sister proud. Her father she was never close to since he was so demanding and strict, but her sister and her were very close. She looked up to her older sister named Lucina, who she used to call Lucy fondly, and wanted to be as strong and noble as her.

Though as time passed and their father became more harsh on Lucina for being the next clan leader, things changed drastically. Her sister became cold and distant. She would start to demean Sonya on being weak and how she’d never catch up to her at the rate she’s going.
Sonya soon started to get frustrated and upset at this. Both her father and sister’s words of her being weak making her want to grow stronger than her sister and prove her worth in the clan. She became dedicated in hunting down any witch she came across and ‘bringing them to justice.’

It wasn’t until years later she learned a harsh truth, that her clan were nothing but killers. Going after any that did magic, be it evil or not, even to those who were related to magic or witches were hunted and taken down. Sonya became ashamed realizing this and also found that there was something in her, in her father and her sister, that warped their minds and turned them almost feral while giving them a boost in their physical abilities. A corruption.

Sonya realized this too late as it was already in her, but thanks to her realizing that what they’re doing isn’t right she tried to change. To think differently and try to stop her sister and their clan from continuing down this dark path. No one would listen, not even her sister. She didn’t even know how to change herself either.
Frustrated and refusing to continue down this path, she ran away from her clan and left them behind.

Along the way, she was found by a Banette witch who called herself Mentor. Sonya was weary of this witch at first who already knew she was a hunter. Thinking this Banette wanted revenge for all of her kind she killed, but it was the opposite. The witch offered to help Sonya think differently and control her corruption so it won’t warp her mind.
Skeptical in the beginning, Sonya reluctantly agreed after some persuading from the witch and became her student.

It was tough at first, but Sonya learned to trust the witch and listen to her teachings. Be it how to control her corruption or how to think differently, Sonya is thankful to her Mentor and has been learning to change her mindset.

Joining

It was a suggestion from her Mentor who deemed her ready to try to be on her own while controlling her corruption. Sonya had made a friend in her partner Yang who she didn’t trust at first but then became her first friend since she left her clan so their Mentor suggested they go to Tabira and join the guilds.

It was also a way to test Sonya since Tabira is known for having noble witches and mystics, so if she could handle being around the witches there then she’d be that much better at controlling her corruption. Or so her Mentor said.

Actually, Sonya recalls her Mentor saying it was also a way for them to work on their social skills since she is a rude, grump while her partner is a shivering leaf when it comes to being around others they don’t know.

Relationships


Yang: Sonya considers Yang like her own sister, a true sister. She was skeptical and distant to Yang in the beginning but Yang has proven to Sonya that she is a true and honest friend she can trust. In a way, Sonya admires Yang and feels like she needs her in her life. Where Sonya usually is blunt and negative in her thinking, Yang is the positivity that Sonya doesn’t always notice and the reminder that there is such a thing as true kindness in this world.

Reef - Team Black Flag - Close Friend/Little Brother
“I used to think Reef was a naïve kid who trusted way to easily. He seemed too nice and I thought he was up to something since no one could be that nice to strangers he just met. Yang mentioned too how he had a unique aura so I suspected he was having a hidden agenda. Turns out, he just really does have a unique aura and is actually a legit nice being. He's shown he means what he says and is quite passionate. Against my better judgment, the kid has grown on me and I see him as my kid brother now.”

Lunette and Marco – Team Phoenix Star – Friends/Comrades
“Kinda met Lunette on a crash course while little Marco literally climbed on top of me and said hi. I was skeptical of Lunette in the beginning, not due to being an Eevee this time but because she’s a witch. I know judgmental of me, but I was just afraid she’d find out what I was and get upset since I had her teammate Marco with me. Turns out, she’s really nice and just has something difficult to control, just like me. I know we can relate in a small way and I see her and little Marco as good friends.”

Artemis and Dolce(Dolly) – Team Fairytail – Comrades/Acquaintances
“Kinda a strange team since Dolce is kinda standoffish and a bit rude compared to Artemis who’s quite nice. He almost reminds me of me in a way. We didn’t get along in the beginning since he knew what I was and he being a witch, yeah…. Luckily his teammate Artemis is actually very nice, just like Yang. She can be a bit too happy and go lucky sometimes, but they seem nice enough. Don’t like ‘Dolly’ all the time, he kinda pisses me off but he fun to tease.”

Peach - Team Magix - Acquaintance/Comrade
“I was unsure about her at first, mostly due to my past and the fact she's a witch. I thought we wouldn't get along too well if she found out about me, but when she was being wrongfully treated by that brat Prier, I couldn't just leave it be. Turns out she really is a nice being and reminds me a lot of Yang. I'm pretty sure if Yang didn't have me then she'd be just like Peach. I owe her one for helping me out before with Morgan.”

Nodoka - Team Lost Light - Acquaintance/Friend
“She is quite interesting and kinda secluded. Though she's actually quite knowledgeable in knowing about herbs and other things. She is pretty nice and was the first to talk to Yang and I when we first came to Tabira. She's one of the few I can count on during tasks so I appreciate having her around.”

“I can admit now that I really do trust and see Nox as a friend. I wasn't sure at first since I assumed being an Eevee he'd known of my clan. Kinda judgmental of me to assume I know, but with my past I couldn't help it. Despite that, Nox has proven plenty of times that I really can trust him, especially in helping to watch out for Yang. He's a capable fighter and despite him being half witch and witch hunter, I admire his strength and do like him. Wait..... No not like that! I mean.....! Ugh....”
