It’s nice that he’s finally making the effort to try and make up for things, but he really shouldn’t expect immediate forgiveness. He needs to work hard for it and earn it. Plus, forcing Kiara to stay and play nice with the one who hurt her and reopen old wounds isn’t going to fix things and may in fact make them worse.

So yeah, they need to take it one step at a time.
