Awesome! I love it. So sorry it took so long before I viewed it (you could'a mentioned it on GTalk :/).
I like the way there are 2 stages to the thing. And the "girl" is GREAT. (Too bad most TMBG fans won't recognize Mr. Galore.) It's also great that you weren't too afraid to face protest and kept the picture of a church that, well, who doesn't have that in their mind's :eye: after they've listened to the entire song?

Pretty similar plot to the Spiraling shape don't you think? I'm kinda sad you didn't animate the eyes this time, but it's just as well since I'm sure it would have overloaded things.

Truly, you must put this on your siggy!

After 2nd view (reply to this only after you reply to the first)
I noticed how much detail you put into making the bell and the church steeple.
And the part when they turn around is also awesome.

Hey, I got a parody on my mind for Robot parade. (different lyrics same music.) I'll submit it as a deviation I think. Anyway, it involves squirrels and is retitled "Rodent Parade". :)
Do you think You could do a video for it? I'm not sure I have enough resources to do it myself.

i could if it was in an audio thingy
i cant really make a movie unless it's an audio file
but if you do, then I'll think about it

Hrm... I doubt my skills in singing to a significant extant I suppose. I don't know for sure how how I could even get the instrumental-form of Robot Parade to begin with. Maybe I'll look into that Winamp plug-in thingy...

or at least get a midi
that would be cool if they had a tmbg kareoke thing
well cool/lame
but still, that'd be helpful
I probably would make the vid if you were to put the time into getting it together and it was pretty funny

Here's the lyrics. Still having trouble recording it. I wonder if I could get a musician to help me... (I know a few people who can play guitar, and RP's page has the guitar tab.

hey not too shabby!
If you can get the music put together, I'll make the video for it

I liked it. The message I took from this video was not that of anti-religion (of any denomination) but rather one shouldn't mindlessly believe everything they hear, read, or are told about religion. It's more important to come to your own understanding. Religion was used in this movie, I think, for the purpose of most accurately sending the message, and because of how well it could fit the song.

The crucifix wasn't used as a target of attack, but rather as a universally understood sign of religion. It would be very hard to find a person who doesn't know what the crucifix is. In Graphic Arts, we state that the point of a symbol is to speak about the subject far more than simply words could capture. This was a brilliant choice by Klim.

This was a thought provoking movie and I think Klim did a fantastic job not only animating and creating this creative music video, but more importantly, he brought a great deal of thought and a fantastic message that can be argued, debated, or embraced, but ultimately makes you think. This is my favorite of his work. I'm glad he was bold enough to risk misunderstanding in the name of a message he wanted to convey.
