I always retain the right to refuse a commission for any reason. I pick a commission based on how interested/confident I am in executing an idea and how large the story is supposed to be. If it’s a fan fiction, then I will only do it if I am familiar enough with the series to feel confident in creating it. I do have a few rules that I stand by from when I used to do commission work.
The Golden Rule:
Reading my work, you should understand my skill level and style, and expect something similar. If you like my prices, you should expect something similar for those prices. I am not re-inventing the wheel for anyone and I'm only interested in serious commissioners! However I love original and fun ideas and will work with a commissioner to make sure they are happy and satisfied!
