IMO Zoroark is the closest Pokémon to the chupacabra, though some say it's like a kitsune (personally I see Hisuian Zoroark that way).


Like the chupa, it has an upright posture, canine-like appearance, patches of mangy fur and spikes (or spiky hair) down it's back

Also true... well until they make a chupacabra based Pokémon, I'll stick with my theory. As with Golduck being based on the bunyip, though that's starting to fall flat
