Lately I have been studying the work of Michael Brown, whose site "Macro Art In Nature"
is not just inspiring, it is amazing. IMO, he is one of the very best photogs around, His work is just so utterly surreal and abstract. So it with this in my mind, and how he shoots, when I ventured to City Floral the other day with my Mom....I figured I would try some different kinda compositions. I don't have the setup by a long shot that he does, but never hurts to try. I have always loved shooting at nurseries, the lighting conditions are often ideal, and it's always nice to have people come up to you asking about your work. Usually the people that work there are more than obliged to photographers. Now there is a tip on a rainy day, hit one up!
Anyways, I liked how this one came out and it's been awhile since I did any macro work. Let alone posted one here. I rarely ever do square compositions and I don't know why...I always have liked them. Anyways.....
