Shot in Alluvial Fan area of Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado
What a scene that just glowed...and I mean GLOWED. It made your jaw just drop open. I am fortunate in that no one else was there, and was lucky to be able to take about 100 shots of this scene alone, playing with composition and such, and custom white balance settings, and in this one, something similar to a sunset setting was used.
Let me know what ya think! Can ya hear the rustling of the leaves??
I can't answer all comments, but I try my best! I appreciate all the fav's and feedback a LOT, thank you everyone very much!

I included it in a fall feature I did. I hope you don't mind..
Well let me just say that I love everything about this photo. The colors are to die for. I really like the composition; the way the road leads your eye through the picture. The way the bright green trees in the foreground contrast with all the wonderful autumn oranges. If I could draw well (and I hope to someday) I would want to draw exactly this composition, not changing a thing.
If I ever get to the point where I think I could do it justice I may come back and ask your permission to use your photo as a reference.
The tress r on fire.
