It's done! And, I've finally drawn a REAL drawing of guys...actually this might be the first time I've done a drawing where there are no females in it!! Hmmm...

This was a lot of fun to draw and before any of you say that Dean/Jensen's right eye looks funny...it looks funny in the photo reference too!

That boy proved more difficult to draw...he has so many freckles (not sure if the scan picked up all the small smudges I made to his nose and cheek area).

If you want to see a progression of the drawing (many of you asked for it, so I'm here to serve!! Haha...) check out this [link] .

Hope you guys enjoy this! I think I will draw more and more guys now (I avoided them in the past...)

Now on to the technical stuff:

Pencil on Bristol - Vellum Finish
HB, 2B, 6B and Blending Stump
Total Hours: 13.5 hours

Thanks so much, and I know! I didn't think he had that many freckles either! Thank you for all your comments by the way!

Wonderful, do tell me the process. The shades, tinting, expressions and details are nonetheless almost perfect. You did an amazing job, how did you find your motivation for drawing this? Also, how long did it take you to complete this?

Actually, if you take a look at my gallery's main page, there is a progression drawing of this particular deviation. It explains my creative process. The drawing has to first look like crap before it can look good. And I usually start with the eyes...that gets me motivated if the eyes turn out good.

Ah, well that's a reasonable explanation. I myself don't find any particular skills in drawing things; more like free sketches that can create themselves as you go along. I've always been that way and that's why, when I see art like this, it always makes me curious as to what process the artist went through to make it. But anyways, I apologize for going off and once again I praise your work. It's very beautiful, c;
