Hello everyone

As most of you have probably noticed, I've been rather absent from dA these past weeks, and the plain truth of it is, I've just been too busy. And I felt it only right to tell you what's been keeping all of my time occupied (:

For the most part I've taken a next—exiting—step on my writing journey, because I've started work on my very first novel! It's a paranormal romance novel called Mirror of the Moon, telling the story of Echo who finds herself lost in a faerytale world of Fae and magick, and which is slated for release before the end of this year.

I've recently dedicated a whole introductory post to it on my blog, so if you're curious, I happily invite you to head on over and check it out!

Next to that, I'm not sure how many of you lovely people know, but I have a younger sister called Lynn Robin who is also an author, and I assist her year-round with creating book-covers, promotional materials and doing proofreading when required, so that keeps my agenda solidly booked

Very recently she started a Writing and Lifestyle vlog on YouTube, which I'm also assisting her with; very fun to work on, but as you can imagine, also very time-consuming! Lastly, lots of little and large things have been going on on my personal life as well, ranging from the fact that my dad—who is sadly been chronically ill for the better part of my life—has been having some tough spells and had to go into hospital a couple of times, to the current situation that we have ongoing maintenance work at my house; we're switching fully to electrical (better for the environment ), so the gas has been disconnected, and a brand-new boiler placed, yet it leaves a lot of both practical and aesthetic adaptations to be made in the kitchen and bathroom that will take some time to realize.

Due to all of this, most of it happy and good things, I'm afraid dA suffered as its the most time-consuming site (for me, personally) to keep updated, and I've mainly been around on my social media. So, instead of remaining silent and quietly slipping into forgetfulness, I wanted to let you all know what's been going on.

And ask all of you who possibly have other social media, I'm active on Instagram and Twitter, to hit me up on there and follow my shares until I can find the time again to return to dA the way I used to

Hello everyone,

It's been a busy few months ever since the launch of my Typewriter series on the 22nd of February, filled with a lot of writing—a short story that will feature in a graphic novel illustrated by my father, as well as the first 120 pages of my debut novel that I hope to share more about in the near future—, yet, here is as promised on my blog, an update filled with new items arriving in my Redbubble shop!

The first ten pieces of prose and poetry from the Typewriter series are now available on various types of prints (framed, canvas and photographic to name a few) as well on a writer's friend, the spiral notebook—find them right here :)

Frozen Memories photography

As most of you who follow me here, you know I have a soft spot for nature and often share snaps—or Frozen Memories, as I call them—from the sights I see around me caught on my walks through life. A first handful have now also been added to my shop in the shape of smartphone cases, various prints, tote bags, coasters and more. Curious? Have a look right here.

Nature Sprite Adventures

On my walks, I sometimes feel the gaze of something small and endearing watching me from the natural world, and I try my best to capture her as she peers at me from the place she's hiding today…

Yet still, two re-releases out of three isn’t bad, is it? So, please, celebrate this new edition of Musings with me—I’m so happy with the way it turned out (:

Hello everyone :heart:

For the past two years I've been gone and back again from deviantART, but starting this Autumn I hope to be a more frequent visitor (and uploader) and kick off my 'return' with the happy news of my new site & blog!

In the coming weeks I plan to share various blogposts on there, telling more about why I've been such an-all-over-the-place presence here, as well as exiting updates about bookish plans for the future. (Yes, really!)

Next to that I will also be using this new space to write journal-like entries in which I share my thoughts, ideas and ponderings, and on occasion would enjoy posting about things that inspire me, which I hope you will find a source of inspiration too :love:
