And I are going to start making Kanzashi flowers to sell and we've kicked out quite a few practice pieces already made partly from scrap fabric.

This one used fabrics left over from my circle skirt. It uses two different petal folds and does a good job of showing that different folds provide different petal lengths: the yellow and purple petals started life as squares of the same size (2" or somewhere there abouts), but the yellow ones seem longer because it's a "pointier" fold.
