Doctor Who fans may recall a line from (holy crap has it really been twelve years?!) about resonating concrete, which worked just about as well.

Maple Leaf is, indeed, a terrible party pony, in the sense that every single one of her party pony skills is better suited to being a spy.  I suppose her cutie mark actually means that she's good at changing with the seasons.
