I'm surprised how well the Executor model holds up, considering that I've only got one angle of it. I occasionally think of doing another one, but building ships and sets takes time away from the part of this that I actually enjoy, so I don't do it unless I have a specific vision for a scene.
I'm discovering that after having more time to develop a smaller pool of characters, it's harder to go back to a cast of six. If I end up continuing with this project after volume 3, I think I'll move to a smaller scale so I don't have to split focus quite so much.
