Star Mares 1.2.6: Shuttling

This page took for-freakin-ever.  As I mentioned in a comment on an earlier page, I work on a fairly ancient computer, and both the starfield and the Nightmare Moon are extremely high-vertex.  This was originally supposed to be three panels, and I cut it down to one because the computer was dragging so badly.

Moontear may seem, at first, to be a transparent attempt to one-up Rainbow Dash, but actually she's an opaque attempt to one-up Rainbow Dash.  She has a bit of a complex about that, which forms a large part of her character.

Oh, and foreshadowing.  Does it count as foreshadowing if it's about the backstory?
