heya!! do you help with flash actionscript 2 stuff ? ;o; or at least know any usefull tutorials( ahh id understand if ya dont have time,, thats why im saying if ya know tuts ya can link em and call it a day lul )
am inspired by

and the ref sheet games,,
my character can move jump and duck but arrenging the jump and mid air animation is tricky enough that it always play the fall animation instead whenever you jump xd aaand i coudnt figure out how to make em doublejump/dash and or spirint

I learnt ActionScript 3, not 2, so it's a bit different (class based). It's been a few years since I did any coding, so I don't remember any specific tutorials.. I used what I'd learned in class, and did a ton of googling to find solutions to my problems and errors. I do remember jumps being a pain in the ass, so I sympathise with you on that

oooo gotcha!! i only had classes for html so ill have to rely on google a lot more hehe,, perhaps i coud try ignoring action script 2 and learn 3 as many says it is better!! :'O also thank you for taking the time to reply ! x)

I didn't learn AS2, but my general impression was that AS3 is much deeper and more versatile, so if you want to keep learning and make more advanced stuff, choose that! The old Actionscript 2 is simpler, so it's probably easier to learn. More limited in what you can do though, and maybe harder to find tutorials for, since it's old.
