Startrapper worm

Startrapper worms are 3 - 4 meter long pelagic creatures that are one of the few groups of thalassaentomtes that take their nieces in the deep ocean about as deep as 1200 - 3000 meters, they've earned the name "startrapper" due to their mouth and its head forming it like a star, the bioluminescence it produces from their mouths is used to attract prey, mates and for communication, the strange part is that 11 of their eyes are far from the back eyes, which can get quite unusual for this group of vertebrates on Persephone. Like several deep sea creatures on earth, Startrappers often come up to the surface wash up on beaches, inspiring myths and legends about sea monsters from the depths of the sea and the fear of the ocean as a whole.
