Description
moray sandworms (or Kelp-antennae sandworm) are Predatory Thalassaentomtes (meaning: "sea insects" although they're also vertebrates, they're closely related to caricetans) that lie in the Seabed. the coloring their heads allows the sandworm to blend in with the floor, also with both antenna shaped like kelps to help detect its prey via sensitivity, especially if hiding with other kelps. Although their antennas are sensitive, they're quite blind to see the world, but it also helps them to see their prey far away, Spotting predators or looking after mates. When prey gets close to the animal, it will ambush at a hyper speed Grabbing its prey with Strange mandibles and drags it down to the sand similar to bobbit worms.
Its prey that's ambushing it is a meteorhead shrimp. these caricetans feed on the sea floor for vegetation and small creatures, it can oftentimes hunt swimming prey. They are also known to join in schools during migration, breeding, feeding or protection.
