Description

1. Domestic drakon: better known as "Peikro" (in citron language) is a species of small carnivorous rostrothere that are native to the forests and rainforests of the north east of ballas, and they're the smallest type of drakon from this planet, citrons have domesticated them at least 500,000 - 600,000 BC. They were the Persephone's equivalent of cats with wings, able to kill and hunt any prey that they see, unlike their relative, the hyena drakon, they prefer to hunt solo, and are mostly nocturnal with acute vision. Not only are they deadly hunters, but unfortunately have also declined a number of species throughout the environment. 1/3 of Persephone's small fauna are at the brink of extinction. And native species (which are also endangered) are being inbred with their domestic counterparts. Though time has changed for the citron civilization. Numbers of non-drakon Species began to recover from many disasters that declined them many years ago (including wars).

2. South coastal drakon: Like we've mentioned before, south Coastal drakons are one of Persephone's apex predators of the skies, They inhabit coastal Rocky mountains and beaches of mostly south western regions of ballas. However these animals are not always exclusive to southern areas as their name implies, they got the name due to their behavior of their migration to southern regions when the breeding season is over in search of food (caricetains, salmonoids, carcasses, etc..)

3. North Costal drakon: north coastal drakons are by far the largest Species of drakon and also the largest of all flying rostrotheres on Persephone. Like their southern cousins, they also migrate to their region from where it got their name after breeding season. Unlike the southern regions, northern regions can be colder to that of the south polar regions. Their thick bodies allow them to stay warm alongside some fuzz on the animal. Unlike their southern cousins, they're more aggressive and territorial creatures similar to that of certain mammals like elephant seals, they have a sharp tusk protruding from its mouth to stab the intruder, the tusk can't stay at the same size though, the longer the tusk, the more deadlier it gets.

4. Anteater drakon: aka tree drakons are the one of smallest types of drakon on Persephone, they take nieces in rainforests and sometimes mountainous regions of north and south ballas, they feed primarily on small organisms, particularly the ones that live in hives, nests or inside logs similar to that of ants and termites, they have a specialized claw on 4 of their thumbs to dig a hole and feed with their long tongue (hence the name "anteater drakon")

5. Desert drakon: or better known as Batuain drakons, batuain drakons live in arid conditions of batu like savannahs and deserts, whilst they're oftentimes found on boomerang island during breeding season, batuain drakons have a flock of around 3 - 8 (or more) individuals, like all herding or pack mammals, females are the leader of the flock in search of food

6. King drakon: or moose drakon are close relatives of your standard batuain drakon. Except they live in more lush areas of the region, spending most of its time taking nieces in batu's forests and oftentimes arid conditions like savannahs. Like their desert cousins, King drakons can gather around 3 or more individuals in the flock.

7. Puffin drakon: puffin drakons are found exclusively in the south eastern coastal regions of ballas, they'll spend most of their time on rocky mountains and cliffs that no one can reach, and also live on hills oftentimes in search of nesting material, when food is spotted underwater, they'll dive themselves deep into the sea to snatch up small food similar to that of several seabirds. Instead of getting too wet, puffin drakons have an oily coat that helps them maintain buoyancy underwater and prevent them from getting too wet. They were given the name "puffin drakon" due to their beak's color being similar to that of puffins.

8. Hyena drakon: hyena drakons or huntsman drakons are carnivorous species of drakon that live in Savannahs and grasslands in the middle south of ballas, they consist of Different fauna, mainly being carcasses, though these species are mostly scavengers, they can actively hunt their prey in packs, the number of individuals can count from 5 or more individuals. Once food or prey is found, they communicate with each other via making hyena-like sounds, and it's also used to alert the pack when the first to find or the prey being on the run, hence earning the name. unlike other drakons, they'll nest and mate on trees to feed and raise their young, their offsprings are mostly altricial, so their parents must take care of them and prevent them from any harm similar to certain birds.

This is all the species from the "tetrapteronia" order. this was originally going to be a smaugst special, but it was quite the struggle and took me a whole damn month to create this thing. There may be more Citron world size charts that I could plan on making them in the future (as well as the lore for the sophonts)
