Citrons are a quadrupedal orange-like intelligent alien species from the planet named 'Persephone' and are also called "citrus spiders" or "Citrus Crabs" due to Thier appearance.
They're about as big as 1.9 (male) - 2.2 meters tall (female). Thier overall appearance has a citrus-like Appendages, 'leaves' seen in males, has a big 'head' and 2 green eyes instead of 6 like most Hexopods on Persephone (likely that their ancestors have lost 4 eyes and focused on 2 principal eyes). Citrons belong to The Hexarachnid class and a Family member of 'Citronidae' which contains not one but many. Citrons are Sexually reproductive, likewise, meaning that they need Male and female to produce a fertile offspring. Like humans, citrons can speak into 18 - 20 different languages, their Language consists of Growling, purring, bellowing and Roaring, and they also have advanced technology to make them more intelligent and inhabit on other planets and Thier moons like mussel which was terraformed and inhabited by (presumably) other alien species for about 57 million years ago, and make their machines travel at maximum speed into the distant cosmos light years away (if not millions of light years away). They have a lifespan of over 90 (male) - 120 years (female) making them one the longest living hexarachnids on this alien planet. Their history Goes back 2.2 million years ago once acting like every other animal, but it isn't really like the ones we know, but instead another species called "Feral citrons" which gave rise to the ones we know and Also gave rise to different species like 'Frozen citrons' from north during the ice age 1.5 million years ago (which has 98% genes of the citrons we know) like humans when starting fire for the first time, they also started to make fires probably inspired them from a lighting Strike on a tree branch or Flames scattering a place and Started making cloths and tools, and slowly abandon Thier Ancestral behaviors and have domesticated plants and animals like domestic drakons, Dromaeomantises (Theromantis relative) and giant citrons known as 'titans'. During Ancient times they've made over 6 clans Ruled by Alpha females or Queens for that matter (And still going on to this day) an event known as "the impression event" is used by releasing several Top males who are involved to impress mates that are directly in or near the queen's base. and it's usually used in some celebrations. and they'll be the Parents of their very own offspring if they succeed. and They also have some religions like Burning flowers for Thier dead to grevie And praise Their lord to bless them. And Like us, they Start wars also. One of the most devastating parts of their history is the 13,000 Year old war which started in a Near extinction causing the next (and short) ice age called "the frozen Apocalypse" or Widely known as "Frost 13k" which covered almost half of the planet with ice until life populations healed for the next 5 millennia
