Wingspan: 1.3 meters

Snow peas (or sometimes called ice peashooters) are a species of peashooter that mostly inhabits arctic and cold environments, snow peas have these crystal-like pods and their crests that protrude from the back of the organism's head, the reason why could it evolve this stuff like this are unclear, it's said that they may use it for display or for thermoregulation. Unlike other peashooters, snow peas have specialized Glands that produce icy pea cannons to slow and freeze down prey and deter predators, which can oftentimes be lethal if anyone is close by. they're also known to build snow nests for safety and rearing young, which can be crucial for their survival.

Anyway, this one was a bit tricky for me to start with cause of their looks and all, and I'd like to celebrate that I've finally ended the day section this Christmas eve (I mean what a way to end it off with an ice creature for Christmas honestly)
