puff-shrooms are small basidiomycete creatures or fungi botnomorphs that mostly live in groups from small to Large amounts. though looks adorable at first glance, they're deadly little beings. the "spores" they shoot aren't actually spores, but rather digestive fluids that act like bullets when hunting small animals or detering predators (it also makes it easier to consume their prey). when threat comes in, they'll all shoot out their spores at their opponent to back them off or sometimes death. though menacing enough, they'll also scavenge on leftovers (fecal matter, carcasses, etc. even their brethrens if they're dead) however they don't last too long. like several mushrooms, their lifespan is short, therefore they reproduce quickly. scaredy-shrooms at the other hand are similar (though relatives to puff-shrooms) but come in small numbers and have a long range projectile, they have the best known eyesight of all fungi botnomorphs. when predators are nearby, they'll hide in their basidiocarp that acts as a "shell" to avoid danger. unfortunately however, some of them don't end well. (especially when it comes to zombies)
