Description
Five lucky winners, yet only one is truly the Golden Child.
Another part of the character design for my version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with the characters in different outfits when they found their ticket/had their interviews. I just thought it would be more realistic to give them different outfits. And at some point, I should get the family designs done.
Augustus was probably the most difficult since I didn't have too many ideas and I was at a loss for what colors to use. I already felt like I overused red, so there's some more instances of orange showing up here. And then there's a kinda crappy attempt at making a sweater design.
While doing Veruca's outfit, I realized I ended up having her look eerily similar to the Tim Burton version at her interview in terms of clothing and its color.
I just had to give her a crimson pinafore.
Violet was kinda complicated as I didn't want her looking too dolled up, though she's got a trendy denim aesthetic here with some lavender accents.
Oh yeah, and Mike wasn't wearing shoes during his interview at home.
He's got yet another hoodie, and is very preoccupied in listening to his music.
Charlie's isn't that much different since he doesn't have that many clothes, but he does look more bundled up with a hat, boots, and fingerless gloves.
Also what was fun about this is that I found some different effects where I can put in some interesting shading/lighting, so they got a little golden glow.
