Young Jane

For some reason, it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to use for this kind of framing, but I knew that it had to be Jane Eyre (of course). I decided on Jane but when she was young. The birdcage represents her entrapment with the Reeds and Lowood School, while the keys represent all the ways she escapes them both literally and figuratively. The doll represents who she will be in the future.
