Just finished a 12 hour surgery...so I came home and hopped in the bathtub to warm up my aching bones, and plopped in front of the computer to watch Parks and Recreation and eat leftovers. I'll probably go to bed after this, at like 8:30 PM, lol. Not much drawing, research, or studying that I can get done when I'm this tired!
I really don't get on here much, lol. I wish I had more time to draw, but between residency, reading about brain surgery to be the best neurosurgeon that I can be, doing research, caring for a sick parent, AND planning a wedding, I don't get a whole lot of free time. Drawing though is a NEED, as I'm sure any artist will tell you, so eventually I just can't stand it anymore and HAVE to draw something that isn't spine/brain anatomy, aneurysms, surgical approaches and patient positioning, etc. :)
I just got hooked on a new Japanese drama, Jin, which is about a modern brain surgeon who gets transported back to the Edo period! I'm hooked. :D Some
Feeling a bit better (and tipsy). I recently got into my dream medical specialty, neurosurgery, and will be graduating in May, so tonight was a celebration of that. Huzzah! Hopefully, I'll have some time to do some drawing before my residency begins in July, inspiration being the limiting factor.
My bf, josephsk, got into Parsons in NYC. I'm super happy that he'll be living his dream, but a bit disappointed that he'll be away. Such is lif3.
Now to read and go to bed as to not have a hangover tomorrow.
