Protector, Logger, Hacker, Insert

So these are some Digimon OCs I've had in my head for a really, really long time, to accompany my Spadamon sona. (To give an idea like, this group has been floating around since even before I posted the first ref of said sona) The basic gist is they're an adventuring party and thus with a sort of, you could say general TV-show writing spread of characteristics/group roles.As such, Spadamon kind of needs the least introduction, as if you already know me, you already know her, lol. The art of her in this group pic does show my OC-Digivice design, though! Based off of like, mid-2000's digital cameras!Floramon's the sweet-heart of the ensemble and prone to nerding about about the subjects of History & Writing! When the party enters a new area, she'll take the lead on finding out as much as she can about its local information. She & Veedramon are fellow students of a University in my version of the Digital World. Because, as far as I know with limited tech knowledge, the term "log" is used for information kept about how the system is doing, my OC-Digital World thus would have the term "Logger" as opposed to "Journalist" or "Writer".Veedramon's the one to take things very seriously, and directly. Though he tries to maintain a stoic sense of responsibility over the party, he does have his share of nerd-out moments. His are usually focused on the subjects of Bodybuilding & Martial Arts. That said, he & Floramon have been longtime friends and her being in danger is his greatest fear. In my version of the Digital World, Universities have Fighting/Protecting as a possible major, due to how combat is a fact of life in the existence of Digimon-kind. Veedramon wants to prove himself as someone worthy of the title of Protector.Renamon's basically the troll of the group. In my version of the Digital World, Digimon are not supposed to access & read the human internet. But when there's rules, there's rule-breakers, and this Renamon's been thoroughly corrupted (and loving it!) by what he's seen. He's drawn to the group because Spadamon actually gets his meme references, plus he finds it fun to bug serious-Veedramon with his silliness. It's probably really apparent I designed him as a foil to the Renamon every Digi-fan knows from Digimon Tamers. He's very unreserved, lol. Of course, the term "Hacker" probably needs no introduction. Accessing human internet aside, this means he's also the party's out-of-the-box thinker for getting them out of jams.As you can see, they do all have tweaks to their designs compared to their species' default, so that, hopefully, in art I make it's obvious when it's them. I don't know when/how I'd like, actually tell their story. But even if I fail at that, at the very least, I got to experience the creative joy of finally bringing my idea into an image!
