Keeping the watermark is very important because it prevents your work from being stolen. In my opinion, lowering the resolution will make your work less nice to look at (which is a pity considering how nice some of your pictures are... plus, people can still take your pictures without permission).

If I were you, I would keep the watermark for pictures that are posted online and remove it if you ever give pictures to the model (or any people who want to buy a picture). That way the final result won't be spoiled ^^
