My last entry was 2006, really?!  Jesus this art block has lasted far too long. So, I'm hoping I'm over it, I just need to get off my lazy bum and get a new sketchbook.  My last one I ended up tearing up while trapping myself in the bathroom in the throws of a nervous breakdown (the joy of a very long, drawn out, stressful period of unemployment). The result is now a sketchbook, torn to shreds in a large folder as a reminder of where I've come from.  And lots of loose sketches/designs/ramblings floating around my apartment and my work place.  Although heartbreaking looking down at the torn up pages it was oddly freeing. I've been ignoring my poor gallery.  It's mostly because my art has changed, well, more like been destroyed.  I try sketching and I can't stand what I produce.  I think my stupid design school years has put a huge kink in my art.  I'll sit down and get all excited about producing a new piece, hours later I'm looking at it, hating what I see so I put it away.  I don't know what this is.  I feel like I'm back at point one, trying to figure out what my style is and trying to bash some sense of ME into my art. 1) I'm opening up a print shop here on DA through the help of a friend,   :blowkiss: I excited!  Woho!  I'll let everyone know when it's up and running.   :clap: 2) I'm gonna start painting today.  I haven't painted for myself in oh........... 5 years!  I'm really curious as to how my style has morphed.  I've noticed that it's becoming a lot darker, a lot more raw.  I'm still unsure about this development, but we shall see.    :confused: 3) I find out today if I got a job designing graphics and screen prints for t-shirts.   :pray:  I'll get paid to design art for t-shirts for the 15-20'S age bracket.  How fun is that?!  Postitive thoughts p
