AeroTouch is an app for the Leap Motion™ Controller which lets you configure different gestures to perform any action for any app.

For example, a swipe left gesture can snap (resize to half of display width) the active window to the left side of your screen and similarly a swipe right gesture will snap it to the right side of the screen.

With the closure of the Leap Motion store, is there a chance you will make this a free download on your site instead?

I would also like to have the source code released. I will see if I can update this to use v2 tracking at the least myself.

Yes good idea. I'll make it a free download.

The source code is actually not pretty clean. It's in VB.NET but easily convertible to C#.

I'll send it to you.

Do you actually use your Leap Motion frequently? Mine's been sitting in a drawer since forever.
Hi, Can you send me the source code too? I believe AeroTouch have great potentials. I am currently using v2 tracking.

Sent you a note. It's under MIT.

Send me a link when you release it.
Thank you very much!

I have Visual Studio 2017 Community here, and I'm actually more well-versed in Visual Basic-like languages, so I think you can send it to me in VB.NET, no problem.

And yes, I still use my Leap Motion regularly. Using it to augment my keyboard and mouse, to switch between virtual desktops, launch Task View, or snap windows without using keyboard shortcuts.

Sent :)

It's under MIT License. Hope you get good use out of it.

Will do. I'm currently working on something else; once I'm done with that I will take a shot with this.

I would have liked to be able to purchase this software to use it on my Surface Pro tablet, the price is not a problem but from my country there is no way to pay anything via internet:icondragoncryingplz:

I guess you should talk to the Leap Motion guys. They'd be able to help you about this.

It would be difficult for me to receive their help, I am from Cuba and United States government has for decades introduced a commercial-economic blockade to my country.
Kishan-Bagaria's avatar
Oh... how did you get a Leap Motion Controller in your country then?

What I need is AeroTouch foftware, I understand that for this I must have first a Leap Motion Controller, But I want to see if there is a possibility of adapting AeroTouch to other systems or software, as I have done with other programs that are incompatible between them.

I thought of making AeroTouch more universal back when I developed it...but now it's just abandonware and it won't do anything without a Leap Motion Controller. Sorry about that.

There's a similar tool called BetterTouchTool for OS X that does a lot of things and works with a lot of different devices.

I would suggest that perhaps you simplify the gesture settings page, but still allow more fine-grained tuning behind an "Advanced" button or something. You might also want to improve and allow adjustment of the robustness of open hand and fingers detection. While you are at it, consider programming in a modifiable delay in-between gestures, to avoid accidental gesture detection in-between a series of similar or same gestures.

Have you considered updating this app to use V2 tracking yet?

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I don't have plans for updating it at this time but when I do I'll make sure to implement your suggestions.
